Parker
Ionics, a leading manufacturer of Advanced Powder Coating Equipment announced
their NextGen Powder Coating System, the GX8500. The GX8500 Series of
Powder Coating Systems features Pulse Power® II Technology that significantly
improves and simplifies the coating of the most challenging part configurations
including Faraday cage regions, wire products, and coating over previously
painted substrates such as E-Coated and A-Coated parts. Pulse Power II
also allows for the smoothest finishes in the industry no matter what your film
build requirements are. With Pulse Power II you get all these advantages
while spraying at 100 kV, translating into some of the highest transfer
efficiencies in the industry.

Uses of powder coating equipment
Powder coating is
basically a process of applying a coating without the need to use solvents.
This process is quite similar to applying dry paint on the surface and instead
of paint, pigmented powder that is created from aluminum, medium density
fiberboards, fusion bonded epoxy and acrylics are used to produce polymer
granules. All these items are mixed with powder ingredients and pigments to
produce the desired color. There are various equipment that are used in powder
coating including powder coating booths, guns and hoppers. All the equipment
are helpful in the entire purpose of powder coating and performs different functions.

Powder coating spray booth
Powder
coating lures can be a messy task as it involves a pressurized air system
underneath its liquid supply. A powder coating booth provides an area to
perform the powder coating task and hence keep all the mess contained. The
powder booths that are being developed today are ever evolving, technologically
advanced, sophisticated pieces of equipment, which are capable of adapting to
changing environmental standards with respect to the emission of volatile
organic compounds and particulate matter. The biggest challenge that is being
faced by the manufacturers of powder booth is the advent of waterborne paint,
which contains little in the way of volatile organic compounds. Although,
waterborne paint is much healthier for the environment, it poses problems for
powder coating booth users because it is slow to dry.

Powder
coating spray gun
A
powder coating gun sprays the electrically charged powder on the surface of the
object. There are different types of powder coating guns available and you can
make a selection depending upon your nature of work. The corona charging gun
uses electricity and the tribo charging gun makes use of friction for powder
coating. There is another type of powder coating spray gun that are known as
bell charging gun flings in which the powder is inserted to the perimeter to
the perimeter of the bell in order to produce the charge. After spraying the
object using a powder coating gun, you can place it on the top of a powder
coating oven. Depending upon your capacity of your production, you can use an
oven that allows you to add customizable compartments for bigger production
capacity.

Powder
coating hoppers and nozzles
These
powder coat equipment
are designed for maximum reliability, quality, efficiency and ease of cleaning.
They are basically stainless steel component design that are engineered for
easy cleaning and maintenance. Another powder
coating equipment, nozzles are used for almost all the applications of
powder coating.
